Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,
because judgement without mercy will  be shown to anyone who has not been merciful.
Mercy triumphs over judgement. James 2:12-13



You believe that there is one God. Good!
Even the demons believe that -- and shudder.
You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
Was now out father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. James 2:19-22

Likewise, the tongue us a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts.
Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.

Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
James 3:4-5,10-11


But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure;
then peace-loving, considerate, submission, full of mercy and food fruit, impartial and sincere.
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
James 3:14-18
